Athens, Georgia – Having a gentle morning with jam on toast and black coffee. The skies are sunny and clear. And, my heart is full.
My outfit? The ‘Edie Sedgwick/Liza with an Z’ smash pack with oversized jet black, sequin t-shirt dress [Alessandro Michele knock-off? Probz.], coal black opaque tights, a pair of almond toe, black granny boots and sparse gems and sunshades complete today’s look. Add the 1940s vintage fur from Bergdorf-Goodman and it means business with a B.
To map out this morning’s soundscape – a few picks from my vinyl collection:
Ravedeath, 1972 [Kranky/ 2011] – Tim Hecker
Capricorn Princess [CTI/ 1976] – Esther Phillips
Beyond the Black Crack [Paradigm/ 1975] – Anal Magic & Rev. Dwight Frizzell
Woman Talk [Mainstream/ 1965] – Carmen McRae
